We’re Hiring! Popcorn Wagon Volunteer Coordinator!
The FiftyNorth Popcorn Wagon is a beloved community treasure, and a living piece of Northfield history. The Popcorn Wagon Volunteer Coordinator is a fun seasonal role–May-October— and pays $18 per hour, with a maximum of 20 hours per week. You will recruit, train and schedule Popcorn Wagon volunteers, and ensure that shifts are staffed with friendly, community-oriented volunteers. Your goal is to coordinate, staff, supply and work the FiftyNorth Popcorn Wagon for a successful season of community engagement and joy.
Responsibilities:

Data—track volunteer info and hours in a Google sheets

Staffing—recruit, hire and schedule volunteers for all shifts and special events

Training—train all volunteers to Wagon service

Calendar—maintain a master Google volunteer calendar

Coordinate—work with community stakeholders to book the Wagon

Supplying—make sure Wagon supplies are ordered, inventoried and stocked

Serving—pitch in for Wagon shifts as needed, supporting volunteers or covering shifts

Cleaning—ensure that the newly refurbished wagon is kept clean and tidy

Transportation—line up and oversee Wagon transportation to and from events

Licensing & Inspection—make sure Wagon meets licensing requirements and schedule inspections as needed

Ability to climb in an out of the Wagon and haul coolers and bags of popcorn
