Showing of the video “Troubled Waters: A Mississippi River Story” followed by presentation by Larkin McPhee, Producer & Director of this PBS special. McPhee won three Emmys for this documentary: Best Topical Documentary, Best Writer of Program (non-news) and Best Editor of Program (non-news). The film shows the relationship between farming practices and the health of the river. It tells the story of changes on the land, and the initiatives people are taking to ensure a more sustainable food production system.
