Transportation

Driving is not the only way to get around in an age-friendly community. Other options may include public transportation, taxi’s, and volunteer driving programs. Alternative resources to driving available to older adults living in the Northfield area are included in this section.

Non-Emergency Transportation

Service providers will be specially equipped to transport riders
in wheelchairs, stretchers or with other special needs.

Public Transportation

Hop on the bus route, schedule a taxi service or ride to the airport

Volunteer Driver Programs

Find a ride to an appointment through Volunteer Driver services. Most will provide rides locally and to the metro area.

Age-Friendly Northfield has compiled a collection of resources to help connect residents to services and information on a range of topics related to aging.
