In the fall of 2010 the Senior Center converted one of its spaces into an art gallery. The Inaugural exhibit featured the artwork of 30 different artists. Subsequently the NSC Gallery has run eleven exhibits each year, featuring a variety of artists. The Gallery has become a valued feature of the Center, and appreciated by the many people who walk through it each day, because of its location in a busy Community Center.
The committee that oversees the NSC Gallery is seeking artists to display their work for our next season.
ARTIST CALL
Two opportunities to show your art in the NSC Gallery:
1. The Third Annual Senior Open, Nov 26 – Jan 6, is open to anyone in the area, age 50 or older, to submit one piece. If you are interested, let Patsy Dew know by October 15. (664-3708 or [email protected])
2. Apply to have your work featured in one of our 4-5 week long exhibits during 2013. Send 3 examples of your work, plus a brief statement about your work, to Patsy Dew by November 10.
