We have planned an exceptional 4-part series on the topic of Alzheimer’s. Because this class will include small group discussions, enrollment is limited to 35. Three outstanding speakers will be highlighted in each of the first three weeks, and there will be a related video following the presentation along with discussion questions. The final week will bring together a panel of people representing resources in the community. The aim of the series is twofold: 1) to provide information about a disease that is now the 6th leading cause of death in the US, and 2) to help those who know someone with the disease find the resources they seek.
The class meets Tuesdays, 10 am – noon, on October 7, 14, 21 and 28. Cost for the class is $24. SIGN UP ONLINE, or in person at the Center (507-664-3700).
Featured speakers will be: Lori LeBey, founder of Alzheimer’s Speaks; Gretchen Ehresmann, local physician; and Kari Berit, author of The Unexpected Caregiver. Read more…
