| OPEN SWIM 5/30 7:00am | Attendees may exercise or swim at their own risk in our warmly heated pool. Volunteer monitors usually available. Lap swimming, water exercising and some water exercising equipment available. Any personal equipment must be approved by staff. Open Swim is not available during Aqua Fitness classes. Swimmers are expected to be ready to exit the building by closing time. ADA compliant lift available. Bring your own attendant. |
| Walking, Biking, Running 5/30 7:00am | Walking, biking or running is recorded as Center-sponsored fitness activity as long as the individual checks in at the Front Desk before or right after the activity. In warm weather come enjoy the walking path in the courtyard of FiftyNorth; 16 times around is 1 mile. You will enjoy the great weather; beautiful gardens provided by the FiftyNorth Garden Club and socially distanced walking with other individuals. In colder climate come walk the halls of the NCRC building from the library shelves of FiftyNorth to the double doors before the CAC. |
| ONLINE Fitness - Strength and Dance Fusion (Ingrid) 5/30 8:00am | Strength and Dance Fusion is a new class being offered on Saturday mornings. This class will feature a variety of strength building routines using hand weights as well as easy dance routines to music from the 60's, 70's and 80's. We might sneak in a little Zumba Gold. Did you know that dancing is good for your memory and you can build muscle at any age?\n Start your Saturday with a fun workout! No experience is necessary…..beginners are always welcome! | Hatha Yoga (Ingrid) 5/30 9:15am | This yoga class will build strength, flexibility, and balance through the use of yoga poses. You will begin with an exercise in breathing and light stretching and work towards yoga poses that will incorporate the body in a way that will feel like a full body workout. You will end the practice in a restorative/recovery pose that will feature the body/mind connection.
